Bonded By Blood drummer and founding member Carlos Regalado has posted a lengthy statement on his Facebook page, in response to the band's recently-announced reunion featuring a new lineup. Regalado, who is the only original member not present for the reunion, called the new lineup a "ripped off version of Bonded By Blood" and claims to have never given the remaining members of the band the rights or permission to the use of the Bonded By Blood name.

The band, who has not released an album since 2012's The Aftermath, now includes half of the original lineup (guitarists Alex Lee and Juan Juarez and vocalist Jose Barrales), who are joined by bassist Jerry Garcia and drummer Stephen Ramirez.
