Norwegian progressive metal act Conception, most commonly known as Roy Khan's (ex-Kamelot) first band alongside guitarist and songwriter Tore Østby (ex-Ark, ex-D.C. Cooper), bassist Ingar Amlien (Crest Of Darkness) and drummer Arve Heimdal (ex-Crest Of Darkness, GLOW), reformed earlier this year, to release a brand new EP, twenty-one years after the band disbanded. Now Conception finally unveil the artwork and release date of the first single off of the EP, suitably titled Re:conception. The single will be released on November 2nd, 2018. It has been evident that Roy Khan, former Conception and Kamelot vocalist and songwriter is back in the music business after a few years of hiatus. After many rumours have surfaced the internet, it was Conception that officially announced their return to activity after being disbanded for 21 years. The news were exposed by Roy Khan and guitarist Tore Østby themselves on the new Conception Facebook page, and it appears the band is returning as a quartet, along with bassist Ingar Amlien and drummer Arve Heimdal.
