03:49 - !J.O.O.E.! Overall I enjoyed it, despite glaring and numerous plot holes and being a too long. But I think it could have been better if it didn't want to be too many things and concentrated on just a few. Joon-ho Bong's The Host was a better
03:47 - Darth Satanious ...out of place on purpose. It is like everything, some may find that something works and some may not. Fucking traffic control in the Shoutbox,
03:45 - !J.O.O.E.! True, but Battle Royale felt clearly rooted in satire, so they got away with it.
03:43 - Darth Satanious I think they wanted to put an interesting character with her, and I believe they succeded. Her place in Snow reminds me of that chick in the instructional video of Battle Royale. A weird, kind of eccentric character that feels...
03:42 - !J.O.O.E.! Which is ironic because she was the best part of the film, but the one element which didn't belong.
03:40 - !J.O.O.E.! [SPOILERS] It's like on one hand, you have the serious and tragic tone of the film where babies were eaten etc, then on the other hand you have the caricatured, designed for humour character of Swinton. Not compatible imo.
Maybe you were not expecting this, but Finnish metallers Entwine have entered the studio to begin recording their seventh album, due out later in the year via Spinefarm Records. The recordings for the follow-up to 2009's Painstained are taking place at Petrax and Wave Sound Studios in Finland.

The driver sleeping in the top bunk of the bus barely managed to escape from the burning vehicle. In addition to the bus, all of the group's instruments were destroyed. The fire caused the band estimately 50,000 euros worth of damage."
Evereyone in the band and crew are safe and ok, and they are still hoping to go and play their gigs.

Finnish metallers Entine have published the following update on their MySpace blog:
"During the end of year 2007 and at the beginning of '08 Entwine has been spending some time in rehearsal room gathering new ideas for the new album. Already there are about eight new songs or at least the basic structures of them. The plan is to hit the studio some time in the spring. The studios and the producer are yet unknown, but the album should be out later this year! Check back for further details…
Due to the writing and recording of the new album, unfortunately, there will be no time for live shows. There might be some exceptions though, in case we need some time off from writing."
Finland's Suomi metal band Entwine have posted the following message on their official website:
"A long time member, a friend, and the only girl of the group, keyboardist Riitta Heikkonen has departed with Entwine for personal reasons. From now on the band will continue as a quintet, without planning a replacement for Riitta.
Her official statement about this decision can be read here later on."
The following message has been posted on the official Entwine website :
"The band is currently in the middle of recording their yet untitled 5th full-lenght album due to release August 23rd 2006. The plan is to record 13 songs, 12 of them being new as there will be a re-make of "Break Me". However, the forthcoming album will probably include 11 songs. New Entwine hymns were put together at record speed, during only just few weekends, due to busy schedules of members. Gladly, this doesn't affect the quality at all, in fact the boys and a girl agree that the songs sound very promising indeed. Well, we'll hear about that in few months.
Certain is that the team hassling around the record know what they're doing. The album is being recorded at Petrax and Groveland studios by Entwine's very own drummer boy Aksu Hanttu who is nowadays very much employed in the field. Producer guy Janne Joutsenniemi is known to many from the ranks of legendary Stone and latterly Sub Urban Tribe. The tracks will be mixed in the subtle care of Finnvox's Mikko Karmila who is highly appreciated for his work with Nightwish, Children Of Bodom, and many others. Mastering is probably going to take place at Stockholm's Cutting Room.
Finnish goth-metallers ENTWINE have set "DiEversity" as the title of their new album, due in Finland on March 1 through Spinefarm Records (Century Media in the rest of Europe and the U.S.)..
The follow-up to 2002's "Time Of Despair" was recorded at Astia Studios in Lappeenranta, Finland with producer Anssi Kippo (CHILDREN OF BODOM, SINERGY, NORTHER) and was mixed at Finnvox studios in Helsinki with Mikko Karmila (NIGHTWISH, STRATOVARIUS).
ENTWINE will celebrate the release of their new album with a March 5 performance at Sibelius house's Finlandia club in Lahti, Finland.
"Time Of Despair" entered the Finnish album charts at No. 24 upon its release in June 2002. The album's first single, "The Pit", debuted at No. 6 on the Finnish singles chart.
