09:01 - Apothecary Everything in Enslaved's discog is pretty engaging and high quality if you ask me, they're remarkably consistent. Only one of their full lengths has below an 8 on here, and even then it's a 7.9. That says a lot
08:56 - Stereolab42 The lower-rated Enslaved albums are lower-rated for a reason. Blech. They have crazy-good highs and boring-ass, sleep-inducing lows.
07:27 - Apothecary I might prefer only AOE to Monumension, but I've been listening to the latter a lot over this past weekend, and I'm thinking that may change pretty soon
Just months after Equilibrium's bassist Jen Majura joined Evanescence, she has now decided to leave Equilibrium "due to unsolvable differences and personal views." She was in a band for a short period of time only. The Germans wish her the best and will continue to work on their new album for 2016.
Equilibrium's bassist Jen Majura has joined forces with the rock band Evanescence as their new guitarist. This is due to Terry Balsamo's departure after working with Evanescence on two albums. Everything has been filmed like you can see in the video! Florian Puchert and his team did a great job and we had a bad ass time while shooting this clip in the beautiful Bavarian mountains - not only because that kind barman who provided us with lots of booze!"

Commented mainman, guitarist and songwriter René Berthiaume: "We decided to release "Verbrannte Erde" to show you guys how diverse Rekreatur turned out to be! Each song on the album has its own story and sounds totally different. "Verbrannte Erde" is about the deployment of an army before the first wave of attack, about the unbroken will to win and determination to be victorious despite several previous setbacks. It's one of my current favourite Equilibrium songs!"
Rekreatur will be released on June 18, 2010 via Nuclear Blast Records.

Commented mainman René Berthiaume: "The compositions of Equilibrium just ask for being played in different constellation. A lof of fans already did it and showed it on YouTube! Since we wanna offer our fans a lot more with each release than just the album itself, we recorded a bonus cd with acoustic versions of old and new songs for the limited edition of ReKreatur."

The band will also shoot a video for this song, commented mainman René Berthiaume: "Der ewige Sieg" is about the renewal of nature and mankind at the turn of the year which also is connected to the album title. The video clip for that song will be directed by Florian Puchert. He's an old friend of the band since I composed the music for some of his movies. Now we're turning tables and he does the flick for our music. Other than our last video we won't have that many digital effects in it rather than going for a more organic and realistic look. He and his team have tons of good ideas and we are looking forward to work with him!"
