After announcing a 15th anniversary tour, power metal band Freedom Call has now revealed that they will also release a new compilation, a double disc with 18 songs, celebrating their 15 years of existence as a band, on April 29th, 2013 in Europe and May 7th in North America via SPV Records.

German power metal band Freedom Call has revealed details about their upcoming new album. It will be entitled Land Of The Crimson Dawn and it will be released on February 27th, 2012 (Germany: February 24th, 2012; USA: February 28th, 2012) in three versions: as a jewel case featuring 14 songs, as a limited double CD digipak including six additional bonus tracks and on double coloured vinyl LP. Germany power metallers Freedom Call has posted a new music video for the song "Thunder God", which is off the band's latest album "Legend of the Shadowking". The clip is streamed online through MySpace channel of SPV Music.
More tour dates have been added to Freedom Call's European schedule. Three more dates have been added to the segment with Pink Cream 69 and a whole new set of dates in France and Belgium with Nightmare are now confirmed.

German power metallers Freedom Call have issued the following update already a few days ago:
"Yesterday (February 10th) we finished work at (producer) Tommy Newton's Area 51 Studios at Celle, Germany and arrived our hometown Nuremberg with the master tape in the bag. The new album "Dimensions" is ready. After more than seven months hard work we are totally happy with the awesome result and can't wait to introduce the new 12 songs. The official release will probably be April 20th/23rd of 2007."

At last, we can proudly present the new line up of Freedom Call!
After months of rehearsals and lots of auditions with many talented guitarplayers and bassplayers, we found with Lars (Guitar) and Armin (Bass) the right guys for the band.
We will start to practise early in december, so that we'll be good prepared for the upcoming tour with Rage in March 06. We also began with songwriting for the next album...
A big thanx to all musicians for their interest and being ready to practise our songs!
Freedom Call has announced that Armin Donderer, who had taken part in several metal/rock & jazz projects in the past, will be the band's new bass player.
Bassplayer Ilker Ersin (Ex Freedom Call) and singer Chity Somapala, who recently decided to leave Firewind, have joined forces to create a new project called "Power World". The current line-up is Chity Somapala - Vocals, Ilker Ersin - Bass, Warthy - guitars, Nils Neumann(also in Freedom Call) - Keys.

as you all might know by now- Ilker has left Freedom Call too. You can read his statement under the rubric "News" . We respect his descision and wish him all the best for the future.
Freedom Call will definitely go on. The interest in FC is very high and we got some interesting offers.

Hi Freedom Callers.
I'm sorry that I have to tell you now that I am no longer Freedom Call's bass player.
I very much enjoyed the past years with the band, and especially the time with you, but it is time for me to follow a different path now - as some of you noticed, I'm currently getting my own band going.
