Latvian folk black metal act Skyforger announced that they will play at the Zobens un Lemess Open Air 2016 in home turf. This festival will take place in the Latvian country side in Lone, from 8th-10th July. The festival's musical line up will contain over 20 bands, playing ethnic music, folk rock and folk metal styles. Ancient crafts workshops, educational lectures concerning history, historical reconstruction clubs demonstrations, knights battles and medieval games - will all take place at the festival Zobens un Lemess 2016.

It transports you back into the dark times of the Great Northern War (1700-1721), when the plague reigned over coasts of the Baltic Sea, where it killed about a third of the Prussian population.
