13:37 - Ilham Which is my favourite AN era. I'll give it a go.
13:03 - J. N. Joe: That album is definitely for fans of early/mid-era AN.
12:30 - Netzach Well with Primer they had to explain to each other, while in Interstellar you'd expect the scientists to already know the stuff they were explaining... but no big deal, both are great films in their own way

After taking an offical break over two years ago, it has now become the reality that Zyklon is no longer a functional band, and thus the decision is made to formaly split up the band, instead of just letting it decend into nothingness.
As a final release from the band, Candlelight Records will later this year put out a boxset, entitled "The Storm Manifesto", including all three full-length albums with various bonus material. Zyklon played its final show in Tokyo, Japan on the 28th of September 2007.
All members of Zyklon are still active on various fronts. Samoth is currently in the studio working on the debut album for his new project, The Wretched End. Destructhor is still touring with Morbid Angel, and is still planning to complete a new Myrkskog album with Secthdamon. Trym is mainly working in his tattoo shop, but is scheduled to appear in a new music project soon.
Returning from Japan marks the end of Zyklon's touring activities for "Disintegrate". Japan is always an awesome experience. We had amazing crowds, hospitality and, of course, lots of sake. Looking back on the general touring activities for "Disintegrate", we've seen many of the same clubs and people, but also some new places and a lot of new faces, which has been great. We made it back to the states, even if only for a one-off festival, we played the Roskilde festival, which was really cool opportunity for an extreme metal band like Zyklon, and we did a bunch of other European festivals, some smaller tours, etc. It's been a good run, and a particularly interesting one as Trym, Secthdamon and myself have also done a bunch of big Emperor shows during the same timeline. There have been both pros and cons to that situation, but all in all it's been very cool.
Black/Death Metallers Zyklon and Kampfar have been added to the list of bands confirmed for Norway's Hammerslagfestival Vinterblot 2006. The festival will take place on the 15th-16th December this year in Tønsberg, Norway. The bands that have so far been confirmed are: Zyklon, Kampfar, Sarkom, Malsain, Cutthroat, Framferd, Pandemi, Dead Mans Hand and Abominat.
The organisation of Hammerslagfestival has hit a glitch as just a couple of days ago when the owners of Støperiet (where the festival was going to be held) have decided that the building can't be used for the festival. The Hammerslagfestival organisers have said: "We also would like to apologise for any frustration that any of you supporters might feel. But remember, Hammerslagfestival is here to stay!
Norway's Zyklon, Australian Metallers Psycroptic and Gorerotted as well as Fuck The Facts (Canada) and Saprogenic (USA) have been confirmed for the fifth Maryland Deathfest Festival. The festival is set to take place over the 26th and 27th of May, 2007. It will take place at Sonar, Baltimore, Maryland. A complete list of all the confirmed bands for the festival can be found at the Maryland Deathfest website (www.marylanddeathfest.com).
The band is currently hard at work on the new album, tentatively titled "Disintegrate," and will record as soon as the band feels that the material is ready & perfect. Confirmed titles are: "Disintegrate", "Vile Ritual", "In Hindsight", "Subversive Faith", "Vulture" and "Wrenched".
The new material is said to follow more or less in the same footsteps as the critically acclaimed "Aeon", only more aggressive and intense.
Candlelight Records has announced that Zyklon will play at the Rockwave Festival in Athens, Greece in July with no other than Slayer, Twisted Sister, Accept, Dio, Anthrax, Dismember and more! Check complete line up at: www.didimusic.gr
ZYKLON, the Norwegian band featuring former EMPEROR members Samoth (guitar) and Trym (drums), have re-signed with Candlelight Records for the release of their third album. The group are currently writing material for the follow-up to last year's "Aeon", tentatively due next year. Songtitles set to appear on the as-yet-untitled effort include "Vulture", "Vile Ritual", "Scum" and "The Four Corners".
ZYKLON are currently working on a new music video for the track "Core Solution", and there's still talk about a full-length live DVD. A few live tracks will also surface on the upcoming Inferno Festival DVD.
Their song "core solution" from their second album, "Aion" was recently used in a trailer for an upcoming independent zombie movie. More information is available at www.rabidogfilms.com.
Soooo...Trym has just completed a month long US tour with Satyricon as a replacement for Frost. Zyklon actually performed one show in north of Norway with Frost while he was away. During this time Samoth has actively been working on pre-production for some new material and now that Trym is back home the band can get started on rehearsing new ideas.
Zyklon will be playing at the Party San Open Air festival in Germany on the 13th of August, and as of now this is the only confirmed show this summer. The band will focus on the new material in the next months, so there will be less activity on the live front for a while. It is, of course, very unfortunate that the band was never able to secure a US tour in connection with "Aeon", but hopefully next time! However, the "Psyklon Aeon" video should be hitting the US airways anytime now!
