Accu§er - Sign With Metal Blade, Working On New Songs

German thrashers Accu§er are proud to announce that from now on they are part of the Metal Blade family. Cynic - Break Up Again (Update)

UPDATE: It seems like the Cynic's break up has turned to drama now as vocalist/guitarist Paul Masvidal has responded to drummer Sean Reinert's statement that the band was over. Paul Masvidal says that the band will continue one way or another and wasn't aware of this decision. The split seems far from amicable and we might have developments on this.

Gyze - Release New Video

Roadburn 2016 - Green Carnation, Amenra, Lychgate And More Confirmed

Roadburn 2016 continues to shape up with a string of new announcements today. Are you ready? Well, first of all, Green Carnation will perform their entire masterpiece, Light Of Day, Day Of Darkness, on the fest. Amenra will be playing a rare acoustic show, plus a fully electric mass; The Skull are also playing two shows. Lychgate are performing An Antidote For The Glass Pill in its entirety with an organist on stage, and Chaos Ech?s have been added to the bill as well as La Muerte, Der Blutharsch And The Infinite Church Of Leading Hand, and Of The Wand And The Moon. Also, Roadburn 2016 tickets will go on sale on October 2nd! Mark your calendars, folks.

Ex Deo - To Release New Album

It seems like Ex Deo's hiatus has been short-lived. Mainman Maurizio Iacono (also in Kataklysm) announced last year that the band would be taking an indefinite leave of absence but didn't deny the possibility of a new album being released. After a few cryptic teasers posted on the band's Facebook recently, vocalist Maurizio Iacono has now confirmed that Ex Deo is returning with a new album.

Primal Fear - Releasing New Studio Album

German power metallers Primal Fear have set Rulebreaker as the title of their new album, which is due out on January 29th, 2016 via Frontiers Music Srl. The album was recorded at Hansen Studio in Ribe, Denmark with producer Mat Sinner and engineer Jacob Hansen. This new album will feature the band's new drummer Francesco Jovino (ex-U.D.O.) and the return of founding member Tom Naumann. You can expect to know more about it in the near future.

Leprous - Guitarist Petter Hallaråker To Fill In Live

One of Norway's inspiring progressive acts, Leprous, have just announced that guitarist Øystein Landsverk will take a parental leave soon, due to the upcoming birth of his first child. The band were pre-planning this with ICS Vortex and Rendezvous Point's guitarist, Petter Hallaråker. The lads at Leprous stated accordingly that they will be playing the remaining dates of this year's tour as usual, with Petter stepping up to substitute Øystein Landsverk.
