Pyrexia - Unveil New Album Details
After a long wait, a new Pyrexia album is coming and the details have just been unveiled. The long standing New York death metal legends have returned with their newest and arguably most devastating album, Unholy Requiem. The record, which will see a September 14th release date via Unique Leader, was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Subsonic Audio by guitarist Chris Basile and "shows the band returning to their filthy, pulverizing, classic sound."

System Of A Down - Serj Tankian Releases Statement About Lack Of New Material
We all know that System Of A Down hasn't released an album since 2005's Mezmerize and Hypnotize and while there's been talks of new material in the works, it seems like it never comes to fruition. Now, vocalist Serj Tankian has posted an open letter to fans following an interview that guitarist/singer Daron Malakian did with Kerrang! magazine regarding the band's inability to record a new album. Serj Tankian has responded citing artistic differences, equal publishing split claims and other major revelations regarding the hiatus.

Hate - Sign To Metal Blade Records
Metal Blade Records just announced the signing of Hate, the death/black metal force hailing from Warsaw, Poland. Their last album was Tremendum (2017) and saw ATF Sinner (vocals, guitars) utilize the dark aspects of the mystic and arcane Slavonic folklore to explore themes both personal and impersonal. In 2018, we find Hate in preparation of their next endeavour and they will enter the studio in December.
