Pyriphlegethon - Announce New Album

There is no stopping the Dutch connoisseur of evil metal this year. Madman Mories is back with more new music. This time, one of his more traditional black metal projects Pyriphlegethon have just announced that a follow up to 2015's Night Of Consecration will be released in the form of a 12" LP titled The Murky Black Of Eternal Night. Chickenfoot - Debut New Song And Video

A new Chickenfoot song and video has dropped online! This track will appear on their upcoming release, Best + Live (coming 3/10/17). Disc 1 features The Best of Chickenfoot and Chickenfoot III plus live covers and one new song while Disc 2 captures Chickenfoot in concert from Phoenix. Kittie - Bassist Trish Doan Dead At 31

Kittie's bass player Trish Doan has passed away at the age of 31. The band made the announcement on their Facebook page. Doan joined Kittie in 2005, left in 2007, and re-joined in 2012. She appears on the band's 2006 EP, Never Again, and 2007 full-length, Funeral For Yesterday, and toured with the band until her death. R.I.P.

Diablo Swing Orchestra - Unveil New Album Title

The Swedish masters of both swing and metal Diablo Swing Orchestra are alive and kicking and have shared the title of their long-awaited fourth full-length album with their fans. Pacifisticuffs, that's what we're going to see on the cover of the new disc. The album is expected to be released in 2017. According to band's last year entries in social networks, a reworked version of "Jigsaw Hustle", 2014 single, will be presented on the album.

Nile - Dallas Toler-Wade Quits, Announce New Member

Nile are parting ways with long-time member Dallas Toler-Wade. The guitarist/vocalist has decided to leave the band to focus on his own plans and recordings. He has a new project. Nile will be embarking on their next tour in support of their latest release, What Should Not Be Unearthed, on February 14th, 2017 with Overkill. This tour also marks the debut of the band's newest member, guitarist/vocalist Brian Kingsland.

Heidevolk - To Play At Zobens Un Lemess 2017

Hell:On - New Video Online

Hell:On just revealed their new video "Filth" (taken from 2015's Once Upon A Chaos...), which was shot last summer in the "cradle" of the Ukrainian spirit - the Khortytsia National Sanctuary, with the support of the Museum of History of Zaporizhzhya Cossacks. Filming took place on the territory of the Scythian burial complex. This is the highest point of the reserve, where in the old days were the Cossack outposts from which looked through all the approaches to the island.

Megadeth - Win Grammy For Best Metal Performance

On their 12th attempt, Megadeth have finally won a Grammy award! The thrash metallers won a Grammy in the "Best Metal Performance" category at the 59th annual Grammy Awards, held last night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. This was the band's 12th Grammy nomination and first win for the song "Dystopia", the title song of their last album.

The Dillinger Escape Plan - 13 Hospitalized After Band's Bus Crash

Thirteen people have been injured after a lorry crashed into a tour bus carrying the American band The Dillinger Escape Plan. The metallers were travelling to a concert in Krakow, Poland when the incident occurred. Aneta Wlazlowska, a spokeswoman for Radomsko police, said the band members were not seriously hurt but were taken to hospital for further tests. Hopefully, all the injured will make a full recovery.
