Babymetal's second album already has a title set. The follow-up to Babymetal will be called Metal Resistance. The record will be released on Friday, April 1st, 2016 via RAL/Sony Music Entertainment in the U.S. and earMUSIC in Europe. The Japanese crew will also return to the U.S. in May for a few shows. Japanese J-Pop/heavy metal band Babymetal will release its second album worldwide on April 1st, 2016 via earMUSIC. A world tour in support of the record will follow the album's arrival as well. The new release comes two years after the release of their successful debut album. In terms of the new shows, Babymetal will embark on a tour going across the globe and it all begins at the SSE Arena Wembley London on April 2nd, 2016. The band will headline also their first ever show at Tokyo Dome in 2016 to mark the end of the 2016 world tour.

Japanese Babymetal have released a brand new video. The video clip is for the song "Road Of Resistance" and was filmed at Saitama Super Arena in Japan on a 20,000 people sold out show. This brand new track is a collaboration between Babymetal and guitarists Herman Li and Sam Totman of British power metallers DragonForce. Check out the video for it here!

The biggest surprise on Metal Storm Awards 2014, Babymetal, just inked a deal with RAL/Sony Music Entertainment for the U.S. release of their 2014 critically acclaimed self-titled debut album. The album's re-release in the U.S. will feature two bonus tracks and it will be available digitally on May 12th and physically on June 16th, followed by releases in Canada and Mexico as well. The Japan-based all-girl-fronted band will also release the album in Europe via earMUSIC.
