Symphonic metallers Edenbridge have officially announced three live dates in Indonesia for July. These will be the first time the band will perform in Indonesia. The concerts are scheduled in the cities of Jakarta, Solo and Malang. Opening bands for these concerts are Dreamer, a female fronted band from Jakarta and Lord Symphony, a speed power metal band from Solo who also supported Helloween in Jakarta in 2008.

After wrapping up their European tour last weekend, Edenbridge have announced they will continue work on their new album. A message from the band reads as follows: "The day before yesterday (Saturday 26/09) we finished our European Tour in the Netherlands. A big thank you to our fans, our friends Serenity and the local support bands for a great tour! After a couple of days break we will continue recording our 7th studio album. Edenbridge have announced the addition of guitarist Dominik Sebastian and bassist Simon Holzknecht to the group's ranks:

"We would like to welcome 2 new band members!

Dominik Sebastian, also known from the band Thirdmoon, has already played guitar on the whole "MyEarthDream" Tour and has proved to be a great guy and musician and got on well with us. Dominik of course can also be heard on Edenbridge´s new live album "LiveEarthDream".
Simon Holzknecht, to many also known from his other band Serenity, is our new bass player! Simon is our youngest band member with only 22 years and is absolutely smashing on his instrument !

Edenbridge have posted the following official statement:

"Max Pointner (In Slumber) is the new drummer in Edenbridge! He therefore replaces Sebastian Lanser with whom no further collaboration was possible, due to his other professional perspectives. Max is already known by his work in the death metal bands In Slumber and Legacy of Hate. Welcome on board Max!

Edenbridge have finished recordings to their upcoming studio album "MyEarthDream". On January 7 the mix is starting at Thin Ice Studios (England) together with Karl Groom. Mastering will take place at Finnvox Studios by Mika Jussila in the beginning of February."

According to a posting on the Austrian Symphonic Metallers' website, Robert Schoenleitner is not able to continue in Edenbridge due to his profession which doesn´t go along to the long time touring plans of the band.

In the meantime, on September 19th, the production of the new Edenbridge album at the Wild One Studios in Vienna began. Threshold guitar mastermind and Thin Ice Studios chief Karl Groom came over from England to watch over the
Sebastian Lanser's drum recordings. Karl will also do the mix of the record which is scheduled for January. Recordings will continue on October 1st at Farpoint Station Studio in Austria, where vocals, guitars, basses and keyboards will be recorded.

The orchestra recordings for the new Edenbridge album will take place in Prague on October 12th. Edenbridge will be supported by the 65 piece Czech Film Orchestra (consisting of musicians from the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and the Czech State Opera Orchestra). The orchestra will be heard on nine out of ten songs plus the intro and did recordings for renowned Hollywood productions in the past. Lanvall's (guitars/keyboards) orchestral arrangements are currently put into the final score by famous conductor/composer/accordion virtuoso Enrique Ugarte.

Austrian Symphonic metal band Edenbridge have updated their official website with the following message;

"Songwriting for Edenbridge´s 6th studio album has just been finished. The band will enter the studio on September 19 to start the recordings. Mix is scheduled for early January and the album will be released in April/May 2008.

Some of the new songs are titled:
"Undying Devotion", "Fallen From Grace", "Place Of Higher Power", "Whale Rider" and "Remember Me".
All in all the album will contain 10 songs plus intro.

After the departure of Roland Navratil at the end of March, Edenbridge has hired a new drummer, and in the same time a new guitar player.
Official statement of the band :
"Edenbridge like to welcome Robert Schoenleitner and Sebastian Lanser as their 2 new members! Robert Schoenleitner already played guitar on Edenbridge´s last tour through England and Asia. Robert studied guitar at VGI institute Munich.

Sebastian Lanser, who studied drums at the Bruckner University in Linz will replace Roland Navratil on drums. Sebastian is a long time friend of Robert.
