Eluveitie - Video For New Single Unveiled
Eight years after folk metal masters Eluveitie released their acoustic album Evocation I, the Swiss musicians have stored their electronic instruments again in the rehearsal room. Evocation II - Pantheon will be released on August 18th via Nuclear Blast Records. Today, they finally released the music video of the song "Epona". Eluveitie - Reveal New Album Cover, Release Date
Eluveitie have been hard at work on their new album, Evocation II - Pantheon, which will arrive this August 18th via Nuclear Blast Records. The Swiss metallers have faced major line-up changes recently and the upcoming album will be a sequel to their 2009 acoustic release, Evocation I - The Arcane Dominion. Eluveitie - To Tour Europe With Amaranthe
Swiss folk metallers Eluveitie are putting finishing the touches on their upcoming second acoustic record entitled Evocation II. After a release show at Summer Breeze, Germany, the band led by Chrigel Glanzmann will embark on a European club tour to present their new songs to the fans live on stage. Swedish metallers Amaranthe will be accompanying Eluveitie on their European adventure. The opening band will be the newcomers The Charm The Fury.

Eluveitie - Reveal Complete New Line-up
Eluveitie have finally revealed their complete new line-up. With the help of a countdown on their homepage, they have presented little by little the new formation with posters, videos and interviews. The metallers now announced the last new band member! New line-up: Jonas Wolf (guitars), Matteo Sisti (whistles, bagpipes, mandola), Nicole Ansperger (fiddle), Alain Ackermann (drums), Chrigel Glanzmann (vocals, whistles, mandola, bagpipes, bodhran), Fabienne Erni (vocals, celtic harp, Mandola), Kay Brem (bass), Michalina Malisz (hurdy gurdy) and Rafael Salzmann (guitars).

Eluveitie - Introduce New Guitarist
Only two weeks ago, folk metallers Eluveitie have announced that their new line-up is finally set. They have taken a lot of time with the search for new musicians and now they have designed a new website on which there is a countdown to reveal the new formation. New and old band members will be presented little by little with a poster, videos and interviews. Rafael Salzmann and Jonas Wolf have now been introduced as the new guitar players in the band.

Eluveitie - Announce New Drummer
It hasn't been an easy year neither for Eluveitie fans nor the Eluveitie camp, with three key members having left the band, also leaving Chrigel Glanzmann and friends looking to regroup. Now they have finally announced the first permanent member to join the band and it is Alain Ackermann (ex-Suborned), who will be the man behind the drumset, after a fruitful spell with the band onstage these past few months.

Eluveitie - To Play Upcoming Shows With Liv Kristine
As you probably remember, Eluveitie recently lost three band members. Now, the band announced that they want to take some time to carefully look for new members and find the perfect new line-up. But at the same time, the group will play every single show already confirmed for this year. So, they recruited talented step-in session musicians to play all their upcoming shows this year. For a few selected dates, Eluveitie unveil even a fourth guest: Liv Kristine (ex-Leaves' Eyes, ex-Theatre Of Tragedy) will share the stage with them and sing classics like "A Rose For Epona".

Eluveitie - China Gigs Cancelled
While Eluveitie has parted ways with three members recently, Anna Murphy, Ivo Henzi and Merlin Sutter will still perform with the band until their show at Fortarock 2016 in June. Sadly though, the band has been forced to cancel 3 gigs in China due to visa issues.

Eluveitie - Drummer Hospitalized
Swiss metallers Eluveitie have announced that drummer Merlin Sutter won't be able to play 2 shows. He has pneumonia and an infection caused by an insect bite on his recent travels and has been hospitalized even though he is recovering. However, the band will not cancel the shows and Diego Rapacchietti will replace Sutter temporarily.

Eluveitie - Working On Acoustic Album
Folk metal heavyweights Eluveitie have faced some line-up changes lately with the departure of violinist Nicole Ansperger and also Patrick "Päde" Kistler (bagpipes, whistles). But the Swiss band perseveres and is working on their second, yet untitled acoustic album. In addition to this, the band has also announced their first Swiss acoustic tour of 2016. Throughout these shows, Eluveitie will deliver exclusive tasters of what fans can expect from the new record in the form of some brand new material. Epica - Announce Tour With Eluveitie And Scar Symmetry
Epica has been touring extensively to promote their latest album The Quantum Enigma from Europe to South America and that is not about to stop. The symphonic metallers have decided to tour Europe one final time in support of the album. This fall they will hit the road together with Swiss folk metallers Eluveitie. This tour will see Epica headline on the dates in Italy, France and the UK. Epica and Eluveitie will be co-headlining in Germany, Poland and Czech Republic. Swedish progressive melodic death metal band Scar Symmetry will be the opener for all dates for this strong bill.
