Eyehategod - Guitarist Brian Patton Explains Decision To Leave Band

After a three-week European headlining tour, sludge metallers Eyehategod will return to North American stages this week for the second leg of their tour supporting Black Label Society and Corrosion Of Conformity. However, the band will be playing as a four-piece as longtime guitarist Brian Patton, who's been missing in action on the last few Eyehategod journeys, recently issued a statement regarding his decision to leave the band.

Eyehategod - Vocalist Needs Liver Transplant

It was known that Eyehategod frontman Mike Williams (also in Corrections House) has been dealing with health problems in recent months and Phil Anselmo and Randy Blythe have been filling in on vocals for the band. Members of Williams' family have now stepped forward to seek financial help to pay expenses and medical bills via crowdfunding and finally revealed the seriousness of his condition. He needs a liver transplant.

Eyehategod - Randy Blythe To Front Band On Upcoming Tour

Eyehategod will have a familiar face filling in for vocalist Mike IX Williams on their upcoming North American tour. None other than Randy Blythe of Lamb Of God fame. The sludge metal band cancelled tour dates last year and also a European tour in July/August this year. However, it looks like their upcoming tour with Discharge and Toxic Holocaust is a go.

Eyehategod - Cancel European Tour

Sludge metallers Eyehategod have cancelled their European trek just a month before it is set to begin. Their July/August tour with stops in Austria, Slovenia, Germany, France, the U.K., The Netherlands and Norway has been postponed due to "personal issues as well as scheduling complications."

Eyehategod - Announce Vinyl Reissues And Box Set Release

Eyehategod - Announce New Album, New Song Online

The first details of Eyehategod's new album are here and so is the first new song! First of all, the group's first studio full length album in over 13 years will be a self-titled album and it is coming on May 27th in North America on Housecore Records, May 26th in Europe, Australia and New Zealand on Century Media Records and May 21st in Japan on Daymare Records. Eyehategod - Australian Tour Canceled, US West Coast Confirmed

New Orleans sludge masters Eyehategod have bad news for their Australian fans. The band was forced to cancel the upcoming tour in the land down under (4 dates were confirmed), because of the booking issues. The statement can be read below. Eyehategod - Announce New Drummer

Two months ago, Eyehategod lost their long-time drummer Joey LaCaze who passed away. The band is now beginning to move on after a difficult period and have announced Aaron Hill as their new drummer. Hill comes by way of New Orleans' local acts Missing Monuments and Mountain Of Wizard and will have big shoes to fill.

Eyehategod - Drummer Joey LaCaze Passes Away

Invisible Oranges broke the news last night that Joey LaCaze, drummer and one of the founders of American sludge metallers Eyehategod, has passed away. No further details have been disclosed so far and the band is yet to issue an official statement at this point. Eyehategod recently completed a tour of Europe and were preparing for a string of dates in celebration of their 25th anniversary. RIP...

Corrections House - New Band With Neurosis, Eyehategod, Yakuza & Nachtmystium Members

No, this is not a dream. There is actually a new supergroup called Corrections House featuring Scott Kelly (Neurosis), Mike IX Williams (Eyehategod), Sanford Parker (Nachtmystium) and Bruce Lamont (Yakuza). Little is known about what this lineup created, but they are launching the band with a US tour (which will also feature solo sets from the artists comprising the band) in January/February 2013.
