However, the band will be playing as a four-piece as longtime guitarist Brian Patton, who's been missing in action on the last few Eyehategod journeys, recently issued a statement regarding his decision to leave the band.

It was known that Eyehategod frontman Mike Williams (also in Corrections House) has been dealing with health problems in recent months and Phil Anselmo and Randy Blythe have been filling in on vocals for the band. Members of Williams' family have now stepped forward to seek financial help to pay expenses and medical bills via crowdfunding and finally revealed the seriousness of his condition. He needs a liver transplant.

No further details have been disclosed so far and the band is yet to issue an official statement at this point. No, this is not a dream. There is actually a new supergroup called Corrections House featuring Scott Kelly (Neurosis), Mike IX Williams (Eyehategod), Sanford Parker (Nachtmystium) and Bruce Lamont (Yakuza). Little is known about what this lineup created, but they are launching the band with a US tour (which will also feature solo sets from the artists comprising the band) in January/February 2013.
