US metal masters Iced Earth, who have yesterday began the European tour together with Volbeat, have today announced some exciting news for the North American audience. The band has confirmed an extensive 6-week run over North America for April/May, 2014 with direct support from Swedish warriors Sabaton and Dutch metallers ReVamp. Iced Earth will be touring in support of their highly anticipated forthcoming album, Plagues Of Babylon, to be released on January 6th, 2014 via Century Media Records.

Iced Earth are about to embark on the second leg of the Volbeat tour, which kicks off in Berlin, Germany, today and wraps up in Copenhagen, Denmark on December 1st.
