Napalm Death - Guitarist Mitch Harris To Miss Upcoming Shows

Birmingham grindcore titans Napalm Death have announced that their guitarist Mitch Harris will skip the band's upcoming shows due to "illness within his family". Understandably, Mitch Harris will not be performing with the band in the near future and the group will bring in guitarists to replace him. However, they haven't revealed their identities yet. Napalm Death are about to release a new album Apex Predator - Easy Meat and will tour in North America with Voivod next year around the time of the album release.

Voivod - Announce N. American Tour With Napalm Death

Napalm Death's new album already has a title and release date. Mark your calendars for January 26th, 2015 in Europe and January 27th, 2015 in North America. That's when you will be able to get your hands on the record. The first details about the grindcore group's new album have been revealed. Napalm Death - Finishing New Album Recordings

Earlier this year, grindcore legends Napalm Death confirmed that they were hard at work to write the follow-up to 2012's Utilitarian album. Well, the band has been recording the new material and that process is almost over. More importantly, you can expect an early 2015 release for this 15th studio longplayer effort from the Birmingham band. Frontman Barney also revealed some of the new song titles.

Project Rogue - Featuring Napalm Death, Cannibal Corpse, Cynic Members And More

A collection of metal musicians have joined forces for Project Rogue, a crowdfunded-based project to create a unique, new studio and video project. Project Rogue set up a target of $70,000 to raise in order to create Titans, an album featuring Lamb Of God's Chris Adler, System Of A Down's Shavo Odadjian, ex-Fear Factory drummer Raymond Herrera, Napalm Death's Mitch Harris, Cynic's Paul Masdival, Rob Barrett of Cannibal Corpse, among many others.

Napalm Death - Releasing Special Roadburn EP, Charity Download

Grindcore legends Napalm Death have announced two special projects that have been in the works recently. First of all, the British band is launching a special cover song of the track "To Go Off And Things" by the Cardiacs via their Bandcamp page as charity download. Furthermore, Napalm Death are also releasing a limited and exclusive vinyl 12" EP entitled Our Pain Is Their Power to commemorate their very special Roadburn Festival appearance on April 10th.

Napalm Death - Special Performance To Be Streamed Live

Napalm Death and Keith Harrison's live performance collaboration, Bustleholme, is taking place this Friday, November 29th. Originally planned to feature at the V&A Museum (London) in March, the Bustleholme project has been given a new life amongst the Modernist setting of the De La Warr Pavillion. The band will play a special live set through an experimental sculptural sound system constructed by Harrison. As the band starts to play, the raw-energy of the sound produced will reverberate inside the clay, causing it to slowly crack, disintegrate and explode, changing the music as it does.

Napalm Death - Special One-Off Performance With Artist Keith Harrison

Napalm Death are embarking on a unique experience which merges ceramic art and music. The legendary grindcore outfit will collaborate with ceramic artist Keith Harrison in a one-off performance at the renowned V&A in London on March 22nd, 2013 starting at 7:30pm UK time. The band will play a special live set through an experimental sculptural sound system constructed by Harrison. Clad with ceramic tiles, the structures will potentially disintegrate as the performance progresses.
