Havok - Kicked Off Tour With Megadeth

Havok announced on their Facebook page they will not take part in the upcoming Megadeth U.S. tour with Amon Amarth, Suicidal Tendencies and Metal Church, the reason being that they were "offered an unacceptable management contract" from Mustaine Management, headed up by Dave Mustaine's son Justis. Whether Havok will be replaced on the aforementioned tour is unknown for now. However, Dave Mustaine has denied Havok's statement on Twitter.

Faith No More - Reuniting With Chuck Mosley For Two Shows In California

Alternative metal icons Faith No More will reunite with former singer Chuck Mosley for two shows in California this week in celebration of the reissue of their long-out of print 1985 debut album, We Care A Lot, which is due for release this Friday via KoolArrow Records. The first date will take place tomorrow (August 18th) in San Francisco at the Great American Music Hall. The second show will take place two days later at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, and will be an acoustic set.

Slayer - No New Album Until 2018

Slayer guitarist Kerry King recently told Jägermeister that the band has some leftover material for their follow-up to last year's Repentless, but has no plans to re-enter the studio until at around 2018. So, don't expect a new Slayer album in the near future.

Brujeria - Release New Track

Extreme metallers Brujeria are streaming their brand new song "Bruja-". It is taken from their long-awaited new album, Pocho Aztlan, which is due for release on September 16th (on Mexican Independence Day) via Nuclear Blast, and will be the band's first studio album since Brujerizmo in 2000.

Exodus - To Work On New Album In 2017

In a recent interview with Spark TV, which is part of the Czech monthly magazine Spark, Exodus drummer Tom Hunting confirmed that this January the group will begin working on new material for their next album, which will be the awaited follow-up to 2014's Blood In, Blood Out, and could possibly be released before the end of 2017.

Evildead - Working On New Album

Thrashers Evildead (featuring members of Agent Steel and Abattoir) posted a picture on their Facebook page of guitarists Juan Garcia and Albert Gonzales jamming together, with the caption reading "It's happening". This indicates that the band has started working on what will be their first full-length studio album since 1991's The Underworld.

Suicidal Tendencies - Releasing New Album In September

Crossover thrash legends Suicidal Tendencies have announced that they will release their new album, The World Gone Mad, on September 30th. It will be the follow-up to 13, and the band's first to feature former Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo and guitarist Jeff Pogan, who replaced Nico Santora last May. The band's frontman Mike Muir recently confirmed the album's title in an interview.
