Costin Chioreanu - Releases Album To Help Victims Of Bucharest Fire

Bloodway's Romanian guitarist and vocalist as well as renowned artist Costin Chioreanu has released a charity album to help the victims of the recent Bucharest fire, a tragedy that resulted in more than 50 deaths including the two guitarists, bassist and drummer of the band who was performing, Goodbye To Gravity. Only the vocalist of the band survived with burns and injuries from smoke inhalation. Costin decided to help and his small contribution is a compilation entitled The Quest For A Morning Star. All proceeds from the sales will be donated to help with medical bills and funeral expenses of those who have been affected by the fire. Get the compilation here.

Lamb Of God - Announce Tour With Anthrax, Randy Blythe Assaulted In Dublin

Lamb Of God is currently touring in Europe and sadly, the experience in Dublin wasn't a pleasant one for frontman Randy Blythe. He was attacked in Dublin by a gang of teenagers on Sunday night as he explained via Instagram. The vocalist said this happened while taking late night camera shots of the Samuel Beckett Bridge. He was in Dublin for a gig with Megadeth, Children Of Bodom and Sylosis at the 3Arena, which took place on Monday.

Headspace - To Release Second Album

2016 will be a big year for proggers Headspace. The band featuring Damian Wilson (Threshold) and Adam Wakeman (Ozzy Osbourne, Snakecharmer) have announced they will release their second album All That You Fear Is Gone on 26th February 2016 through their label Inside Out Music to follow the magnificent debut I Am Anonymous.

Katatonia - Reveal New Drummer

And the new Katatonia drummer is... Daniel "Mojjo" Moilanen! He will replace long-time drummer Daniel Liljekvist, who left the Swedes last year, as a new permanent drummer. You might know Daniel from several bands such as The Project Hate MCMXCIX, Runemagick, Lord Belial and Engel, among others. As you know, the band is releasing a new album next year, and today they also entered Studio Gröndahl with engineer Karl Daniel Lidén to commence the recording of their 10th album.

Obscura - Share New Album Details, Rafael Trujillo Joins

Obscura are finally releasing a new album and the details are out in the open. Their highly-anticipated fourth full-length album is to be called Akroasis and is due out on February 5th, 2016 via Relapse Records. The aptly-named 'Akroasis' (Greek for "hearing" or "listening") draws on all the various elements of Obscura's signature sound and combines those qualities into a mind-blowing and cohesive whole. Emperor - Complete Works Box Set Details Revealed

Last year, Emperor announced their Complete Works vinyl box set, spanning the black metallers entire career. The box set will be the first time their works have been remastered specifically for vinyl and presented as special editions. It will be released by Finnish label Blood Music which has started revealing its contents now. Emperor's The Complete Works will be a 24-LP, one 7", and one book box set. The public pre-order date for the box set is slated to begin on December 9th, 2015.

In Flames have lost another long-time member of the group. Drummer Daniel Svensson quits the Swedish band to spend more time with his family. The metallers are currently touring in Europe and that will be his final tour. He will dedicate himself to a brewery soon and focus on his family life. Who will be the new guy behind the drumkit? Bad Brains have asked their fans to pray for guitarist Dr. Know who is reportedly on life support in the hospital. Gary Miller is seriously unwell but details are pretty scarce at this point. The band's most recent album was 2012's Into The Future and Gary Miller is one of the founding members of the veterans.
