In a series of messages posted on the band's Facebook page, ex-Mercenary bassist/vocalist Henrik "Kral" Andersen and Mikkel Sandager announced that they are working again on their project called Firesoul, with an upcoming album to be released later this year.
Mikkel Sandager posted the following: "My dear friends and fans. These great news have been hard to keep to our selves. This reunion has been years in the making and I truly look forward to, once again, be under the wings of my former master and stand side by side in our magnificent harmony. Kral is truly an inspiration to me and his visions of melody, simply astounding! Looks like 2012 will be quite an interesting year for us all... Also it is awesome for me personally to be returning to the metal scene. I have missed you all so dearly! The prodigal sons of Firesoul return! Sleep tight if you dare!"

| Finally. I was afraid they had abandoned these plans. Hopefully they'll be more on the diverse side as Everblack and 11 Dreams Mercenary. Looking forward to this. |
