In a recent interview, Sandro Vizcaino, the guitarist of Spanish doom/gothic metal band Helevorn, has revealed that the band is currently working on new material for the follow-up to 2010's Forthcoming Displeasures. The release date for the new album, the band's third full-length, hasn't been disclosed yet.

Sandro Vizcaino commented: "The stage of work at this present time is that we have around 14 songs, which we are processing almost every day. About the recording, we have different options like, do the same as we did with the last record, do everything here by ourselves and we are thinking with the possibility of doing the recordings somewhere in centre of Europe. We don't want to rush so no releasing date yet. For the moment the new songs sound a bit different, but it's too early to say it."

The guitarist also talked about the band's music and current activities, and you can read the full interview here.

Good news!

Forthcoming Displeasures was a pleasant surprise so I'm eager to see what they come up with next.

Well their last effort was quite notable and above mediocre level for sure, so looking forward to hear something new in this vein from them...
