23:05 - EMols86 Enjoyed Pyramaze - Melancholy Beast for sure, except for the horrible song called "Until We Fade Away", which reminds me why I don't like (most) power metal.
22:51 - EMols86 Solefald (their debut). Since I'm now checking out Pyramaze (as I said, first time I listen to power metal in years) I'll check your link (Chinese band) after that. :-) Can't believe I actually like Pyramaze...
22:45 - MechanisT The new Blood Red Throne is killer material.
22:45 - Dark†SymphonY What band you talking about Emols?
22:42 - EMols86 Ah that sucks. I listened to it and while I didn't like every aspect of it (some vocals annoyed me, especially at the end) overall I found it quite good.
22:38 - Dark†SymphonY EMols, I'll have a look at that band later, YouTube isn't working for me atm.
Heavy metal veterans Anvil have some good news for their fans. The band announced that they will release a new album next spring. The album will be titled Hope In Hell and follows 2011's Juggernaut Of Justice. This will be their 15th studio album and the first with bassist Sal Italiano.
They aren't the best band in the world by any stretch of the imagination but I think the majority of their material is good, the two Albums mentioned above are particularly good and they still kick ass live.
And they aren't going to stop when they are probably more popular than ever at the moment.
Why won't this band just quit? They sucked in the 80's and they still sucks!
They will not quit anytime soon because they are still riding high on their popularity wave after their documentary "Anvil - The Story of Anvil"
If you watched it (and you should) you will know that Lips and Reiner will do absolutely everything it takes to keep on playing metal. That and they are a kickass live band.
