Still no news about the release date for Arsis upcoming opus, Unwelcome. However, the band's new six-song EP, Lepers Caress, is now available for free download and streaming, as promised, at this location.
The band posted on their Facebook page: "Our new 6-track EP entitled Lepers Caress is now available for free download courtesy of Scion A/V Metal right here! Please check it out!"
Over at Scion A/V, they write: "Arsis, which derived its name from the musical term "arsis and thesis" meaning unstressed (up-) and stressed (down-) beats respectively, makes music that is tinged with variety of metal influences, but is completely dedicated to expanding the reaches of melodicism and technicality in the genre of death metal. Lepers Caress is the first release following their well-received 2010 album Starve For The Devil, and again enlists the help of Zeuss (Agnostic Front, Hatebreed, Municipal Waste) who the band has recorded with since 2008's We Are The Nightmare."
In addition to this, Scion A/V are giving away two pairs of tickets for Arsis upcoming tour with Sonata Arctica. The rules for this contest can be found here.

| How are they making their records so physically boring? Everything from the sound to the riffs just numbs me. Back to the first album and EP once again. |
