US extreme metallers Ævangelist have signed a deal with Debemur Morti Productions. The other good news is that the band is working on the successor to De Masticatione Mortuorum In Tumulis.

The label released this statement: "Darker...and darker...and darker... we are extremely proud to announce the signing of an astonishing new band, probably one of the most exciting Death Metal experiences of our age, Ævangelist. Their young career is built upon an ongoing exploration of the most lugubrious musical landscapes, a different and extremely personal approach; both terrifying and bleak; and just... supremely violent.

The band is currently working on a new obscure masterpiece. In the meanwhile, you can take delight in horror listening to 2 amazing pieces from the critically-acclaimed first album of the band: De Masticatione Mortuorum In Tumulis."

The band had this to say: "Ævangelist signs to Debemur Morti Productions. Let this be the commencement of dire labors in harmony with the howling aether in the emptiness of space. Cognition of destiny."

I'm expecting a collaboration between these guys and BaN in the future.

Considering how they (Debemur Morti) have recently said that their 100th release is going to be something big, I'm guessing it will either be BaN, these guys or a combination of the two.

That would probably end up being the best thing ever.
Nice to see a new band with such talent signing on a label with other great bands.

I remember dreaming a collaboration between these guys, BaN, Lurker of Chalice and Gnaw Their Tongues a few weeks ago when I was sleeping, what a line up, but it would not happen at all

Never say never it could happen.

Indeed, though it still pains me to see Archgoat on that label, who I always found to be a bit awful.
