Melechesh announced via press release on their website the new member of the band, the drummer Xul (Thanatos, Abode of the Blessed and Liar of Golgotha). Recently the band have splited with Proscritor. The band have already worked with Xul on new material during the year.

Ashmedi commented: "we are very glad to announce the addition of Xul to the Melechesh Djinn union; Xul is a tremendously talented drummer with outstanding technical ability".

Xul talks about being in the band: "I am honored to finally be part of this cult. Playing with Melechesh is an enriching experience both on a musical and on an ideological level".
