12:15 - Zaphod That joke got old about 11 years ago
12:08 - ANGEL REAPER September has ended, time to give Billie Joe a call to wake him up like good old internet tradition says..
10:30 - RazMan @RedOctober In Anathemas case I think it's good, Distan satellites was a bit disappointing but other that that I've loved all their albums. But Opeth won't climb out of the grave they dug with the three last albums.
08:56 - RedOctober The probability of Opeth becoming metal again is similar to Anathema becoming metal again.
08:49 - God Alone [link] It's 29 minutes long, but I read on The Ajna Offensive fb page it's an LP, not an EP.
08:36 - God Alone OMFG Deathspell Omega are back?!? I'm dying.
Anathema have finally premiered a full clip from their upcoming Universal DVD/Blu-ray release. The band chose the song "Untouchable, Part 2" from their latest album Weather Systems. The live performance footage was captured at the ancient Roman theatre located in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, where the group was also joined by the Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra for the evening. Take a look at how it unfolded on the video below.
The atmospheric rock band's new DVD will be out on September 23rd. More details about this release can be found here.
Say what? One of the most saccharine, embarassing Anathema songs ever ("Have to let you go/to the setting sun"!?) and a rather bland performance. The orchestra is nice, but I'm not sure what this release can offer that Were You There? and A Moment In Time didn't. Look at the track selection too; the only good thing about it (compared to those previous releases) is that it features Thin Air, easily their best song of this decade. And the Plovdiv extra seems nice. But other than that, I doubt it's worth my time and money since I already own Were You There?
