Extremists Goatwhore have returned to Mana Recording studios this month with producer Erik Rutan to record a sixth full-length album. Fans can follow Goatwhore's progress via updates at Facebook, which includes exclusive photos and videos. Their new album will be the follow-up to the 2012 release, Blood For The Master.

The band has recently also confirmed that they will be on the road in April as part of the Metal Alliance Tour 2014, supporting headliners Behemoth, along with other support acts 1349, Inquisition, and Black Crown Initiate. Get the full details over here.

What are your expectations for the new release?

Sweet, pretty much everything they release is gold in my book. Still not sure if I prefer A Haunting Curse or Blood For the Master but if this follows a similar formula (which I imagine it will) then I'll be more than satisfied.

It could be a carbon copy of Blood For The Master for all I care, as long as it's good, then I'll be satisfied as well.
