Motörhead - Cancel Berlin Show, Guitarist Taken To Hospital
Motörhead have had to cancel a few shows this year and in previous years due to frontman Lemmy's health issues. However, yesterday they canceled their Berlin sold out show because guitarist Phil Campbell was hospitalized. While they didn't give more details about it, they promise an update soon. They are scheduled to play in Hamburg, Germany today.
Here is Motörhead's statement: "With great regret, Motörhead have to cancel the sold out show in Berlin today, November 27th. Our brother, guitarist Phil Campbell suddenly required hospitalization. He will be better soon but there is no choice other than to cancel our show in Berlin. We all wish Phil a speedy recovery, Lemmy, Mikkey and the Motörhead family. Please check back, we will get you all information as soon as we have it."
