Epica - Unveil 'Immortal Melancholy' Anime Video

In case you didn't know, this Friday September 1st, Epica will release their new EP, The Solace System, which includes six brand-new songs, written and recorded during the process of their latest album, The Holographic Principle. And now you can finally hear another song from it as they have premiered their new anime music video for "Immortal Melancholy". Enjoy!

Keyboarder Coen Janssen comments: "Enjoy the second part of our animated video-series! In 'Immortal Melancholy' the story continues where we left off with 'The Solace System'. We hope you like it as much as we do! Let's find out if the Universal Death Squad takes over our universe...!"

The Solace System was recorded, mixed and mastered by team Joost van den Broek and Jacob Hansen. The video clip was produced by anime-master Davide Cilloni. The artwork is once again by the hand of Stefan Heilemann.

I think it's an odd choice for a single, but I do really like it. Definitely shows off Simons' vocal talent.

Agreed. They should have released Architect Of Light, that's a far better song.

Dear lord the animation and art quality for this video is like early Adult Swim quality. Wonder if they paid the animators in cool ranch doritos and XXL t-shirts
