Abhordium - Guitarist Passes Away
Sad news come from Finland. On April 1st, Finnish death metal act Abhordium revealed that they have lost suddenly their guitarist Markus Mikael Hiitola, who had been in the band since 2015.
The band wrote: "Although it is April fool's day, unfortunately this post is true. Yesterday 31.3.2018 we faced one of the inevitable things in life, Death. We all have to face it one day, but this time it met our good friend and guitarist Markus Hiitola. We found him in a peaceful position on his apartment's sofa. This is a great disaster for us and for many of the bands he was involved in. He was known as a very kind, calm and trustworthy person. Thanks for all these years as a friend and as a guitarist in Abhordium 2015-2018. We will be playing our scheduled concerts in Salo 13.4 and in Turku 14.4 with respect to his memory.
