Behemoth - To Headline North American Tour This Fall

This October/November, Polish black/death overlords Behemoth will hit the road across North America to headline the 'Ecclesia Diabolica America 2018 e.v.' tour. Featuring special guests At The Gates and Wolves In The Throne Room. Behemoth recently completed work on their 11th full-length album, which will see a worldwide release via Metal Blade Records (North America) / Nuclear Blast (Europe) this fall. Stay tuned for more details coming soon.

Behemoth singer, guitarist and main-man Nergal comments: "I hereby announce Behemoth's triumphant return to the North American shores this Fall. We will be in the noble company of At The Gates and Wolves In The Throne Room, who will be supporting us on our 11th opus. Even though it's only been a few moments since we played for you, our American legions, we cannot wait for this tour to start! It's gonna be the first headlining run supporting new music and we are bringing all the artillery, which means the biggest production thus far. 'Ecclesia Diabolica America 2018 e.v.' arrives soon and we want you to celebrate this sonic pandemonium with us."

At The Gates frontman Tomas Lindberg adds: "At The Gates have not done a support tour since 1996. When we got invited to this tour, we immediately saw the logic to the package. This is three bands with their own unique sound, three bands totally dedicated to finding the core of their art. Three important bands. It all made sense to us, and we are flattered to be part of this. I truly believe that this is the one tour not to miss this year. Get ready to drink from the night itself together with us."

Strong line-up. Would love to see this but all the interesting tours seem to be happening in N. America these days...

At The Gates should be the headliner Sad that Behemoth have become so popular when really they aren't special at all.

Lmao everyone saying strong ticket. As someone who was there when ATG did their original reunion tour I have to say their fans will 90% not be happy during WITTR and will probably beat up a fair amount of hipster black metallers along this tour. Prepare yourselves for some karate kicks and bros being attacked by invisible bees lol

Have you seen Behemoth live? Absolutely phenomenal show that honestly gives me new appreciation for the music (at least The Satanist). And seeing as the last time At the Gates released anything excellent was 23 years ago I'd say it makes perfect sense tbh.

I actually have seen Behemoth. I assume that it was just that one show, but it really felt like none of them wanted to be there and they were all really bored (the band members). But I have seen some videos online and have heard so many good things that all say otherwise. But you do bring up a good point that ATG hasn't been good in a long time.

Saw them with Keep of Kalessin and Dimmu Borgir on the most horribly named tour ever, "The Invaluable Darkness Tour Part 2 - Legions Of The Chosen Few " (wrap your head around that last bit... "legions of the chosen few") ... was a really good live show. Was '08, so Apostasy tour... KOK was ok, Dimmu just cheesy. Most impressive wasn't Behemoth hitting on all cylinders, but rather Nergal in full costume. Tucson, even in April, is approaching 100f/40c temps and a crowded venue with no ac and several hundred sweaty and reaking metalheads. Hell, it's probably how caught his leukemia in the first place... (a clear cut joke for anyone reading this slow on the uptake)
