Rotting Christ - Part Ways With Guitarist, Announce Tour In Latin America
With a short Facebook statement Rotting Christ have announced that they no longer feature guitarist George Emmanuel in their ranks. The Greek extreme metallers have also just confirmed some shows in Latin America before their extensive European tour with Moonspell.
Here's what the band wrote about parting ways with George Emmanuel: "Dear friends, We would like to anounce that our 6 years colaboration with our guitarist George Emmanuel unfortunatelly came to an end! We thank him for his dedication all those years to the band and we honestly wishing him all the best with what he is doing with his current band Lucifer's Child.The battle goes on!"
Regarding the tour in Latin America, Rotting Christ said: "We are in the pleasant situation to announce our first tour for 2019. ROTTING CHRIST are back to Latin America for some Hellish shows in front of the most Hellish Metal audience worldwide.Look forward to meeting once again our Latinos brothers and this time we will get no prisoners! NON SERVIAM!"

Rumours are flying that this guy is the replacement but there is no formal announcement yet.

Is this decision immediate? They're playing at House of Metal here in my hometown of Umeå (also home of Meshuggah) on Saturday, March 2nd. Is there even enough time to get the replacement in such short time? Don't wanna read about a cancellation...

There is even a photo of the band with the new guitarist online. So don't worry, the show won't be canceled unless Sakis decides to fire him too
