Gloryhammer - Unleash New Video 'Gloryhammer'

British power metal force Gloryhammer unleash a first taste of music from their upcoming record, Legends From Beyond The Galactic Terrorvortex, due out May 31st via Napalm Records. The band has launched a music video clip for the track "Gloryhammer", available for streaming now.

Commented on video by the band: "Mighty warriors of the galaxy! Are you ready to raise up your laser powered goblin smasher to defeat the forces of Zargothrax? Then it's time to watch the video for our new single...simply called "Gloryhammer"! In this song, Angus McFife has arrived into a terrible alternate universe ruled by the evil wizard Zargothrax...and to make matters worse, his legendary Hammer of Glory is powerless! His only hope is to fly into space and recharge the hammer with the power of astral fire...if his quest fails, then the forces of evil led by the deathknight Ser Proletius will rain down nuclear fire upon the brave resistance fighters of the Kingdom of Fife. The tragic fate of the Kingdom of Fife hangs in the balance once more..."

Not as good as I was expecting. I know they are cheesy, but those lyrics are terrible.

Pretty mediocre song. I would have expected them to pick something more memorable for such a high-budget video. Gets a little more interesting as they add more keys to the latter parts of the song, but still, this sounds like something your average local band could write.
I lift weights and listen to metal

Jens Johansson's solo didn't fit well with that song to be honest.

I do like this one. Feels like something from the debut.
And what do you call assassins who accuse assassins anyway, my friend?

Feels much more generic to anything from their last album. I hope this is the weakest track...
