Long-running melodic death metal outfit Burden Of Grief have parted ways with two members, guitarist Johannes "Joe" Rudolph and drummer Jan Breede. Joe was part of the band since 2006 and Jan since 2018. The Germans are now in the search of permanent replacements.

Statement from the band: "We unfortunately have to inform you today that our guitarist Joe and our drummer Jan are no longer part of Burden Of Grief. We made this decision collectively and part ways still as best friends. It has become more and more clear to all of us that unfortunately neither of them can find the time necessary to keep the band alive. Of course, this decision was not an easy one for all of us and was ultimately made for the benefit of Burden Of Grief. We had a great time together and hope to be able to reconnect with new people as soon as possible. After the corona-related live-break this year and last year, we want to go full throttle again in 2022. The first shows have already been confirmed and a new release via our longstanding label Massacre Records is also planned..."
