I think it's sad how The United States wants to ban this album cover  How is it offensive!?!?! I mean there are other Black Metal and even Death Metal ablum covers out there that are more offending than this album cover!!!

| The coverart is probably banned because Dimmu Borgir is a band that gets a lot more antention in media. The people who bans album covers probably just get to look at the big names, and they've probably never heard about Belphegor or Marduk. |

Hmm, when I bought Puritanical back when it was released, the coverart wasn't banned, but the celophane on the outside of the cd had a huge Dimmu Borgir sticker covering up the woman on the front of the book.
And as far as why it's banned in America... it is America... haha. Cencorship doesn't even matter anymore. They censor things that needn't be censored and let far too many other things just go right on by, endlessly... oh well. |
