Vomitheist - Join Forces With Transcending Obscurity Records
Old school death metal trio from Switzerland, Vomitheist, is pleased to join forces with Transcending Obscurity Records for the release of their debut full length instalment.
Comments the label on the signing: "We're excited to work with an old school death metal band that manages to inject new life and vigour to the style, with an extra layer of filth. Without degenerating into churning out lifeless compositions, Vomitheist manage to keep things robust and catchy, nailing the sound which is sufficiently raw, crusty and mind-numbingly heavy. They fit right alongside other similar-minded death metal label mates in Crawl and Feral, both of whom are in the studio recording new material."
The band's statement: Hordes of disgust! We are thrilled to announce our signing with Transcending Obscurity Records for the release of our first full length record. It has been quite a journey since 2013, when we had the idea of forming a band to play death metal the way we like it: old, raw and filthy! What was in the early days mainly a beer - fueled fun project has emerged over the years to a band which will severely damage your eardrums. This wouldn’t have been possible with the people around us, so we want to thank especially Kunal and all the others who have supported us over the last years. Only with them we were able to reach the point where we are now and we’re looking forward to what brutality is next to come. So, get down on your knees and prepare to pray on the altar of the Nekrofvneral."
