Gorgoroth on MTV? Negro please...

I think it's a pretty good idea to spread the word into the masses, so they know what's going on in our scene.

I never thought I would see the day...
Doc Godin - 15.05.2007 at 18:57
Frankly im not surprised, black metal seems to becoming a fad.
Carrion - 15.05.2007 at 20:13
All-mighty-brutal-evil-true-kvlt-Gorgoroth appeares in one of the most evil channels ever! Now there's something to see..
Murder - 15.05.2007 at 20:33

what follow? Bhelphegor plays white metal???? o.O
4look4rd - 15.05.2007 at 20:56
Im not surprised at all since its MTV Norway, I mean, they play whatever sells, and I think that black metal is pretty popular on Norway (correct me if I am wrong =P)

I would only be surprice if gorgoroth premieres their video on MTV US or MTV UK, now that would be surprising!
Katatronik - 15.05.2007 at 21:36
Yeah, it sounds strange but in the end it's not a bad idea IMO! And, as said by 4look4rd, it's MTV Norway...
Empty Spaces - 16.05.2007 at 00:20
It's not that surprising to me. I've been seeing alot black metal bands have gone more "mainstream" and they're beeing shown on MTV nowadays...
White Winter Sun - 16.05.2007 at 00:46
Very surprising.

Because in France there's no metal on TV. Then imagine black metal on TV it's an utopia
ItalktotheWind - 16.05.2007 at 01:59
I hope all of you realise its only going to be on Norwegian MTV which isnt saying much. When i went to norway the first things you would see in a music store were black metal albums.
matos - 16.05.2007 at 02:34
hmmm i don't think i get you guys haven't you watched the episodes ?! They clearly show what Ghaal is trying say to the world; most of the people don't understand him (i'm not saying i am). Haven't you seen the last episode - waiting a whole minute hardly moving a muscle, not saying a single word! Maybe he was thinking:"this idiot has no idea what i trying to explain to him" or he was just focusing his mind on something irrelevant for the interview....
What i'm trying to say is, the video is not used for band promotion and getting mainstream, it's more like a documentary. So i believe MTV is still better choice than national channel.
Bitch Boy - 16.05.2007 at 03:44
I'm as surprised as all of you WTH is doing Gorgoroth in MTV??

Now thats what I call Moer Brutal How Dark funar..

Is this a quote from K7 or some famous BM person/band? I missed it...
Nixx - 16.05.2007 at 04:51
Funny thing is that everyone here seems to get the first-expression of Norway you'd expect them to :p
Hyvaarin - 16.05.2007 at 10:48
Sellouts .

That documentary is fantastic. So fantastic, in fact, that I'm gonna write about it in my uni blog.
Megad3th - 17.05.2007 at 03:31

Weird...hope something like this will happen here as well
Jiri - 25.05.2007 at 17:32
The video is good, despite being on MTV. They also could have chose a better song.
