Danish black metal duo Angstskríg will unleash self-titled sophomore full length on March 31, 2023 via Despotz Records. The 7-piece output was produced by the band and Frederik Brandt Jakobsen, who also handled the mix and mastering. Angstskríg also premiere the album's first single, "Vishedens Ulidelige Lethed" (The Unbearable Lightness Of Certainty), with accompanying video clip (directed by Daniel Buchwald).


Angstskríg about the new single:

"With a title borrowed from Milan Kundera, "Vishedens Ulidelige Lethed" (The Unbearable Lightness Of Certainty) reflects on the anxiety of uncertainty, which seems to affect modern life. The anxiety originates from a mismatch between the general understanding of reality as immutable by modern people AND the actual changeability of reality. The craving for certainty by the anti-vaccine cult is, in that regard, merely one of many examples of collective anxiety.

"Musically the creation derives from the tone set by songs like "Skyggespil" and "Uhygge" on the debut. The formidabel solo created by none other than the magnificent Mendel. Enjoy."
