Faal - Release 2-Track Single; Decide To Call It Quits
After the passing of their guitarist Pascal Vervest in late 2022, Dutch black doom metal purveyors Faal have soon after decided to cease with their activities. Concurrently with this announcement, Faal put out a brand new 2-song EP titled FIN. Both songs were produced in time of a new album recordings (will not be completed) and can be listened via YouTube down under.
Statement from the band as follows: ''Dear all, as you might know, Faal is no longer active. Before the untimely passing of our guitarist and friend Pascal, we were in the midst of recording a new album. As we weren't happy with some of the songs, we had yet to record them again. Unfortunately Pascal passed before we could hit the studio. We were, however, able to finish two songs and we are happy to share our new EP FIN with you now."
