Former Accept frontman Udo Dirkschneider returns to his roots with the ''Balls To The Wall 40th Anniversary Tour 2025'', where he will perform the 1983 Balls To The Wall in its entirety.

Udo is looking forward to these prestigious dates: "I really can't wait to revisit the ultimate success album of my band Accept. Topped by sharing the stage with Peter Baltes, performing Balls To The Wall in full for all of you out there will be one of my biggest career highlights for sure!"

Does real Accept plays live Udo era songs now?

I think Wolf Hoffmann has the right to play any Accept song he likes, wasn't he the main song-writer?!

Yes I think so, but question is if the do, He once told that new current line up is like re start , different band. I saw then live like 8 years ago maybe, they had Accept classics, but how about now, since 5 albums has solid set list what can be good to play not doing Udo era songs.

Yes I think so, but question is if the do, He once told that new current line up is like re start , different band. I saw then live like 8 years ago maybe, they had Accept classics, but how about now, since 5 albums has solid set list what can be good to play not doing Udo era songs.


I think fans like to hear the old material, even if it is sung by another vocalist. The current vocalist does a good job.

There are 2 "versions" of the band and this is what they play in concert:

U.D.O. = U.D.O. released songs with 1-2 snippets of Balls to the Wall and similar.

Dirkschneider = Accept songs.

Accept nerds like myself might get a bit confused as the entire album Animal House was written by Accept and Gaby Hoffmann (Wolf's wife) but as it was released under the UDO name it counts as an UDO release.

Now back on the topic, 40% of the classic Accept lineup, this tour should be a banger. HEAD OVER HEELS!
