The British metal band To-Mera has posted the following statement about splitting from Candlelight Records:

''After releasing two albums on Candlelight Records, we have reached a mutual decision that it is time for this band to move on to pastures new in order to progress. We would like to thank all the staff at Candlelight for all their help during our 4 year relationship.''

''Our current focus will now be on recording a demo of some of the new material to showcase the musical evolution of this band since the release of Delusions. Tracking should begin sometime in July.''

I've started listening to this band recently; what I've heard is magnificent. I wonder which label they will be signed to next.

Just go listen to Images and Words and forget everything else in this thread.

Woohoo another Dream Theater album that is the bestest of the best ever bested in the bestest of prog. God damn gimme a break.
Just so you know I will forget everything in this thread, so my usually snappy remark at DT will remain forgotten and uncared for. Much like DT to me actually!
Ag Fox - 08.06.2009 at 05:56
I'd say they are really unique and I agree with K†ulu's statement

everyone is entitled to their own opinions. for those who like them can continue to admire them (or their music); for those who hate them can continue to dislike them; for those who know nothing about them can go check them out and form your own opinion

Or with the modern technology we have on this website now, wander over to the To-Mera band page and listen to some stuff on the myspace player.

Ah, Marcel...
Now I know that when you say something like this about a prog band, I'm going to like them!

Because I never made the effort to listen to them, but they're good. Strange for sure, but interesting!
