From July 27th, Alcest will be in Markus Stock's Klangschmiede Studio E in Germany for three weeks to record the follow-up to their debut album, "Souvenirs D'Un Autre Monde". Mix and mastering will be done in September at French Drudenhaus Studio. The new, as-yet-untitled record will consist of six tracks - including new versions of both songs from the deleted EP "Le Secret" - and clock in at around 55 minutes.

More details as they surface.

I have never heard of this band before. Considering the dude's connection to Prophecy Productions and Marcus Stock, I'm rather interested in this band. By the way, I read the Encyclopaedia Metallum entry for this band, and I never thought I'd come across a "black metal/shoegaze" band. Hahaha.

The deleted ep? That was limited to a 1000 copies...

Shame he couldn't come up with this idea two months earlier, this could've made a nice soundtrack for the summer. Provided that it's good of course.

Wow.. It seems like Niege thought about doing it early. I didn't wanted to wait like... 3 years for an album ajajja. Really high hopes for this cd.
