| Please don't, leave Bush to Armored Saint. Or at least allow Bush to do both. |
| Bush should be smart and wise and stay with Armored Saint and give Anthrax the middle finger for the ay they treated him not too long ago. |

There is something wrong about this story.....
Nelson has some of the best pipes in modern metal you don't go and fire one of the best singers.....
Let us hope that Joey or maybe John come back.... |

| Something sounds fishy here |
| Wow, they changed their singer very quick! I wonder who will be the next one on the list. |
| I'm really bummed I'm gonna' miss these guys this weekend. Too bad they couldn't get Bush to fill in for all Sonisphere dates. I definitely disagree with the "Bring Bush Back" outcry that's going on though. As much as he is my favorite Anthrax singer, I'm really looking forward to some new Armored Saint stuff. Oh well, hooray for the ensuing shit storm! |

Strange stuff going on there...
Bush supposedly isn't in the music business anymore (according to an Anthrax interview published in Rock Hard France)...
And Nelson was good, really good at Hellfest. And then he isn't in the band, with no explanations. Whoot? |
| Bring belladonna back. even if he wont come back or if the other members dont want him there. whichever the case may be. |

Then Rock Hard France is totally wrong cause he is in Armoured saint and recording with them.
I agree on Nelson. What do you mean no explenations? Anthrax said Nelson left due to health problems. |

To be precise, it was Scott Ian who said that in Rock Hard France.
And about the health problems... Well it's the most logical guess, but the news above only says that they cancelled some shows due to said illness. The info about his departure is without further explanations... So, it's probably that, or maybe Scott Ian said 'what a whimp' and kicked him out. Or something else (maybe illness means drugs, or whatever). |
| So is Nelson out of the band, or just not performing a few songs because he's sick? |
| JOE BELLADONA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
| Get Michael Jackson!... No, wait... he's dead. |
| They better not bring in that Slipknot dude they were thinking about.... |
| Anthrax singer drama ... take a drink. |
| They just need to stick with John Bush. He was the best singer Anthrax has had, IMHO. |

| Dan was a pretty good vocalist, he kinda butchered the belladonna stuff though. I cant believe hes already outta the band. |
They sacked him because he was ill, that's harsh.
Must be more to it than that. Bring back Joey. |
| Maybe they could find a filipino guy via myspace to fill the void like Journey did to fill the shoes of their departed vocalist, Steve Perry, who sounded an awful lot like Joey to begin with. |
| Ha, I was just staring at the advertisement for the Anthrax/Slipknot show in Minneapolis on September 4, which, I guess, is now cancelled. |
JOEY BELLADONNA or NIEL TURBIN!! Fuck this "grungier" sound they've gone for. Bush was a great singer, but he was no Belladonna!
Ian and Benante should just bring back S.O.D.!! |

Why do you consider this band a total joke and not bands such as, let's say, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Overkill etc.? |

i'm just sad they canceled their Wacken show, one of the really few chances to see Anthrax i'll get seeing how they change vocalists like socks and they're not getting any younger.. |

Those bands are just as much of a joke to me as Anthrax
Especially Metallica is a huge joke when it comes to treating fans and personel, Megadeth (Mustaine) horrendous as well at treating band members, Slayer as well when it comes to how Lombado has been treated through the years. And Overkill, well, can't really take their music seriously now can we? |

Actually I don't like them at all.
Venom I respect for their first couple of albums and the huge influence they've had on extreme metal but toally not for the way thy treat their old band members. But Nanowar of Steel is just pubescent juvenile hunour with a fixation for piss, shit and anal stuff. |

| Enough off-tpoic now back to Anthrax. |
| There was talk in 2005 about Joey doing an album with them, then he said no and left, and they get Dan, and announced a new album for May 2009, Worship Music, which was pushed back to October. And now with this, they'll probably scrap the album and start another 2 and a half year cycle. |
| This is pathetic. And this isn't exactly 'new' news, but according to Dan Nelson, he never WAS ill at all, that was a made up excuse to get him out of the band. Had Scott not been such a dick, maybe Joey would have stayed with the band. Hell, maybe even Dan Spitz would have as well. Once upon a time, Anthrax was my FAVORITE band, or at last the classic lineup was my favorite. Nothing could beat their releases, from Spreading the Disease to Attack of the Killer B's for me back in the day. It's just sad what they've become. |
