I just watched half of the Flight 666 documentary, and I have been so touched throughout these 50 minutes, that it's hard to describe. Maybe, I just happy about them, I don't, but I've got a weird feeling. Well, it's doc so far, so check it out.

Sounds like the film really is worth seeing (and buying) I guess!? I'll be checking it out when I get the chance

Yeah, it's definitely worth. A great documentary. I haven't seen the live performance DVD yet though.

Keep in mind the fact that Iron Maiden may not have exploded without Bruce...

Just have watched Flight 666.. That's a great DVD pack. As someone who is not interested in New Wave of British Heavy Metal as such, I liked this one. In whole DVD the dude who got the Nicko drum sticks was the most interesting part.. Also the Maiden priest was funny.
After all, I was reviewing the movie's IMDB page, and I found Andreas Kisser and Drrick Green (Sepultura) in the cast.. But in fact they appeared less than 30 secs in the roll of football player (Kisser) and the guy who was watching football (Green).. Funny it was about them.

Weekend Warrior? Really? I can honestly say that I've heard anyone say that is one of their favorite Maiden tracks.

wow, 2, 3 and 5 really unexpected

my top 5 maiden songs(aagh so many great ones it's so hard to choose):
5. the evil that men do - the track that turned me on to IM, saw it one late friday night on VH1 Rocks about 4 years ago, still i love it, excellent chorus
4. rainmaker - great chorus, great guitar work
3. phantom of the opera - one guitar melody hook after another
2. fear of the dark - easily one of the catchiest songs in the history of metal, also excellent lyrics
1. two minutes to midnight - i don't care if the main riff is stolen from Budgie - Wildfire, the best lyrics Maiden ever wrote and that's really saying something (as the madmen play on words and make us all dance to their song, to the tune of starving millions, to make a better kind of gun!) , extremely catchy, great solos, pretty much an extremely awesome track all round.

Why unexpected? I consider Drifter an awesome song but ok, Weekend Warrior isn't

Choose 5 songs from Maide? No way, they can change every month. Many of them have been my overall favourite by them...let's think to " Minutes To Midnight, 22 Acacia Avenue, Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Prowler, Strange World and so on.

- stranger in a strange land ... I just love the overall blues feel of the song
- weekend warrior ... the middle bridge/guitar solo is the catchiest riff in any Maiden song
- drifter ... gotta love the punk rock influence & the last minute of the song is soooo freakin heavy

Yeah, weekend warrior is a bit of a stragne choice, but I can kind of get it. The rest I can fully understand. These would be my favorite five Maiden songs.

5. Out of the Silent Planet
4. Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg
3. De ja Vu
2. Hallowed Be Thy Name
1. The Evil That Men Do

Shyeah... That's because it's too fucking awesome to even be compared to songs like Sea of Madness and Wasted *cough* LAME *cough* Years...

But yeah... I guess The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner is my "atypical" favorite Maiden song.

Oh come on, Wasted Years is great. It's got one of the greatest intros ever heard on an Iron Maiden song.

I agre with you with Moonchild being the best on Seventh Son but sorry to say... I actully find The Evil That Men Do the worst song of that album.
