I'm very pissed off because my dad is going to Lebanon tomorrow. If he went AFTER tomorrow, I would have gone with him. On Friday, Katatonia are playing there...

About Doom , there has been some kind of movement that started in a couple of forums where Doom was being promoted a lot "I was and still part of those forums " so I think if we got the chance to be metalheads freely this would be a Doom country
and the rest of the other bands you mentioned are mainly popular here like in the rest of the world because they are infinitely accessible
about Marduk and Dark Funeral and the likes .... well some people still think that they are the most extreme bands ever and that they are "badass" if they liked it

One question: where do you LITTLE Metalstormers buy your shirts? I'm 1.61 M and I've got trouble to find T-shirts in size Small.
It's not a problem at concerts, but when I want to buy on-line. I want to order more T-shirts/Sweaters at once cause of the shipping rates but the most on-line stores I see don't sell my size

¿The font is stupid? It's a normal, typical font that is neither "stupid" nor anything of that nature. As for the phrase, if you knew anything about the artist you'd know it was incredibly appropriate ;] You'll have to do better than that. It's a great shirt, simple and effective. And nice to look at.

Not quite sure why you're quoting "eye-catching" as I never said that. I'm sure you'd be much happier in a gaudy and colourful Deathcore shirt that screams "Look at me! I'm incredibly alternative and a total rebel of society!" - I'll stick with my tasteful, minimal shirt in the meantime thanks.

That depends a) if it's a good album. If it's not then I won't be buying it and b) if it's attractive artwork. That's the good thing about having no artwork, it's simple and often elegant.

Eye-catching =/= attractive.

Not everyone wants to walk down the street and have hundreds of people gawk and point at their "eye-catching" apparel.

I agree it's definitely not "eye-catching". Why the hell would you ever say that!? Plus the band name isn't even perverse, they prob sound like Marilyn Manson.

In all seriousness, simplicity can work better than a "loud" shirt: (/get you into constant fights)

the most eyecatching shirt i've ever had was not with some illegible logo and bizarre artwork... it was a Slayer shirt with three simple words in large, block print:

SEX
MURDER
ART


that got me more nervous looks than anything i've had before or since, aside from the hugely ironic "Adolf Hitler World Tour" t-shirt which satirizes his reign as a rock band world tour, complete with the UK (CANCELLED) and "The Bunker" at the end. that one was too ironic and not nearly obvious enough for the morons around campus, worn twice and trashed.

Agree, there are some bands with such a pretty logo that you just want the logo.
