Metal Storm - Now Also On .EU
The staff of Metal Storm are happy to announce that our website is now also reachable on the .eu domain. We hope that this move will allow us to be treated as a more international metal magazine and open doors for us in terms of co-operation with labels and festivals. We are proud of the Estonian origins of this webzine but we feel that having another domain will make it easier to highlight our international nature. Don't worry, the .ee address will still work and our logo isn't going to change.
From now on, besides the primary http://www.metalstorm.ee address, we can also be reached on http://www.metalstorm.eu. Staff members can also now be reached on their corresponding .eu email addresses.

the .eu forwards to .ee anyway, so everybody will in fact still be using the .ee. the main reason for this was to make sure nobody else gets it before us (look at metalstorm.de and metal-storm.net, two websites that we have absolutely nothing to do with but which have the same name) and to approach festivals and labels not as an Estonian magazine but as a European one.

We did have some misunderstandings with labels and organizers though who have either thought of us as an Estonia-only magazine or in my special case have thought I've misspelled .de to .ee as there's also a metalstorm.de which doesn't have anything to do with us, but sounds more familiar to many Germans than metalstorm.ee does. The .eu domain shall help us in avoiding such misunderstandings and emphasize our international impact.
