Voltaire is hard to pinpoint. His lyrics are pretty ridiculous for one thing. I'm listening to his recent album, Ooky Spooky. The most dominant instrument seems to be violins. Voltaire isn't really someone to be taken seriously, it's just fun to listen to when you're sick of listening to everything you usually listen to. It's pretty lighthearted. Most goths are really serious and look at the world in a bleak and depressing way. Voltaire to me is a breath of fresh air. I put him here because he's not really of the rock bands that are in the Rock Forum. So, who here has heard of him?

"Voltaire", is this name from the band related to a old-back-some centuries French writer?
