I'm interested to know your favorite online Metal radio station (apart from MS radio, or what remains of it).
Currently I'm listening to

This is an awesome doom, hard rock and metal station featuring mostly underground bands as well as bigger bands like Mastodon, Sleep etc. Best thing is its hosted by Scott Kelly of Neurosis and you can download past episodes, sick song selection. I've found heaps of new bands.

I have discovered this website http://www.live365.com a few months ago. They have a lot of metal radio stations. My favourites are:

- LA Metal
- Extreme Metal Radio
- Metal Rage Radio

They play extreme metal (a lot of metalcore and death. Not so much black). When you subscribe for free, you can make a list of your favourite radio stations so you don't have to search everytime. You just go to your presets and off you go! Watch the downstream megabytes though. Here in Belgium we can only download 10Gb a month, so listening to online radio is not always an option. It's a pity because there are no regular radio stations that play metal here in Belgium...

I listen hardradio.com, and very very rarely totalrock.com. If you like almost every kind of metal i offer you the first one

My favorite online radio is Thrash n' Bash radio. They play mostly thrash metal, but also hardcore and death metal sometimes. The adress is http://thrashnbash.com/ , and there are a lot of thrash records to request songs from (you have to register in order to request). And well, tune in if you like.

There's a metal show every Friday where I live, but you can check it out at http://chrwradio.com/archive/#friday , if you scroll down to the shows called "Pure Concrete" and "Metal Trax" you can listen to them. They play pretty much all kinds of metal. I'venoticed that they play very little power so if that's what you're looking for... sorry. There are also good podcasts called Talking Metal and Metal Injection. I was a skeptic at first, but they are good shows.

Metal Storm Radio ran through Live 365 at one point. I didn't like it much though, as it wouldn't really work for me, and it wouldn't got through winamp. I'm glad that they've stopped using it. Plus I had to sign up to Live 365, and now they send me all this stuff about how I should be using their paying service.

Metal Throne has it's own radio. www.metalthrone.net Just click on the link on the right side of the page. We play most styles, but mainly Black. Death, Thrash and Heavy.

Another way to listen to metal online, is listening to real radio stations through streaming. Even if it's just a three hour a week program...

Im not too fond of most online radios cuz they mostly suck, but AOL XM has 5 metal genred stations and with GOOD quality, BM, DM, metalcore, power metal, and just plain metal. Its actually really good, but comes at a price.

Just like Vrana, MS radio and last.fm are the radios for me. But I usually prefer my CD's.

Total Rock it was great radio station before some years when Crusher works there I always listen Crussher metal mayhem and midnight dinamite

Despite the reasonably limited playlist, I find myself listening to http://www.icebergradio.com/progpower with some regularity. There's a couple other sections for black or thrash, but progpower is where I mainly keep.
