I heard 'Blasphemy is my Throne', and I pretty much enjoyed it, but I hated the fact that they play this kind of BM. I mean they easily get labelled as clones, but they could make a more interesting kind of bm. They have what it takes. There are good parts near the generic stuff

Gotto get my hands on more, though. How is 'Dauðafærð' ? That 20 min song intreegs me

I have mixed opinions about Dauðafærð. Sure its a good song but i dont think it was necessary to have such a long song - could have at least made it severable more easily listenable chunks.

Its very easy to see the Darkthrone influences in their music, but like any pure, raw BM band there will be people who say they are unoriginal etc.

I have heard a few tracks from their website and they seem really good. Hopefully I can get hold of an album somehow.

They are all worthwhile but my favourite would probably be Desecration followed by In Total Contempt.

"Desecration" is their only album I know...just ANOTHER average Darkthrone clone, absolutely nothing special.

I agree with Streetcleaner. Extremely average Darkthrone clone, completely worthless actually.
Move on.

My supplier is still trying to get this lol. They seem to be hard to dig up for some reason. Some of their riffs are almost typical Darkthrone stuff but I quite like this band even though they are a kind of clone. I doubt I'll ever get tired of listening to old school raw Black Metal. I'm trying to get In Total Contempt cause many were telling me its probably their best!?! There are around 4 bands called Pest though..

I think "Lífit es dauðafærð" is one the best black metal songs ever!!
Simply amazing!!

I found many of their releases in a Black Metal-shop here in my town, they seem nice so I'm thinking of buying something from them.

Their new album is pretty good, 'Rest in Morbid Darkness' it sounds better produced then their last album in a good way, vocals and instruments are especially sound and aggressive.

Great Black Metal band, one of my favorites. and yes y agree the new album got much better production.
