Trivium. They started off strong with the forst album, now they sound like a new age Metallica. I cant see how a band can totally change the sound without changing musicians. not to mention the 3 times iv'e seen them live (opening for other bands) they have sucked.

Tristania, right after Word Of Glass and they would go down as the greatest gothic metal band ever IMHO. It's not that they completely suck, Illumination is quite tolerable, Rubicon has its moments as well and so did Ashes, but suma summarum up till that their works have been brillianth, while now they're just average and it ruins their reputation. Hmmm, come to think of it, Theatre of Tragedy would do too if Aégis was their last work.

I don't want Dimmu Borgir to disband, I mean.... I want some more drama and epic stupidness concirning yeti costumes. They just make my day

Probably true, I was just messing around anyways. When it comes to my ears, they're pretty well trained. I used to sing in the Tallinn Boys choir when I was 11 and we performed some great works like Bach's Johannes Passion. Good times...

Nope. I am pretty good with a synthesizer these days, though. I've never actually studied composing or keyboards, so I am self-taught, but it really helped that I was in an excellent choir. When your hearing is good, you can learn to play almost any instrument by yourself. It takes a lot of time and practice of course. I could send you a link to a song I've uploaded to YT, if you'd like, but I created it over just 1 night using a demo version of Fruity Loops 08, so the quality is crap-tastic

I would disband Mercenary. These guys had two masterpieces of metal, "Everblack" and "11 Dreams". But after the founding memeber/Harsh singer/ Bass Player and main song writer left the band jyst went rolling straight donw hill and now they just sound like (Insert generic Modern Melo/Death band here)

For me it's Iron Maiden. I wouldn't say "disband" as they still put on kick ass live shows, but I wish they would stop putting out albums. They've gotten unbelievably boring over the past few years.

Why them? Their last two are awesome. "Faith Divides Us-Death Unites Us" is easily up there with "Icon", IMO. The next one could be even better. Hell, even the self-titled was solid.

Ya I really enjoyed Faith Divides Us... I wouldn't say there's a need (and I'm surprised there's even a want) for PL to disband. :S
