Anyone else find that scrolling isnt so smooth on this website?

I have smooth scrolling unless I'm browsing some video/picture-filled thread like 'New Album Recommendations 2011' or Funny stuff/Cool Stuff etc. In band profiles the MySpace -player spends precious time, but you can hide it from your settings.

Recently, any page I view has been a bit slow, but only on Metalstorm.

Even if, how's that a bug on our end? Things we can influence are load times, layout, site functionality. Scrolling however is entirely on your end. And it's affected by so many factors that it's unlikely you'll find your solution here.

Well, I have no idea what's going on then, but do you remember did the slowing down happen at the same time when the frontpage changed a bit, just in case if there was some other site updates (which is just guessing)?

edit: yeah, and like corrupt said lag ain't a bug.

With the floating header MS isn't very smooth but with it at the top it's silky for me.

Well I tried clearing cookies and all that shizzle...

Didnt work, so now I use MS in a separate browser ( Safari instead of Firefox). Works fine now.

Check some features running on your computer. It is nothing from Metal Storms end. Could be your internet connection or the fact that your computer is struggling to pull the website up.

That could have all sorts of reasons. Settings in Firefox, installed addons (which are the reason for most problems people blame on Firefox), your pc specs etc..
If you install a clean Firefox on a clean reinstall of Windows on your PC and the problem persists, then things start to look funny. Otherwise, as this really isn't anything we can influence from the inside, we have to assume the problem lies on your end.

There you go. Do you have a cache cleaner on your computer? Download the trial for System Mechanic and do a complete full scan and clean of your computer. You will notice such a large difference.

I've just bought a mac in the last few months, I used to use windows cleanup, so i'll probably google an equivalent for mac.

I actually think they have a mac version. Check out their website.
